	What specificiations does my PC require to play Richard Burns Rally?

	Richard Burns Rally does not install correctly, or it installs but won’t uninstall?

	If there is a problem on install, it is likely to be the disc itself (please swap with your retailer if it is a new disc). If you have more than one CD/DVD drive in the machine, try in another drive to make sure. If the game won’t uninstall or re-install, the problem will be registry entries.

	Richard Burns Rally does not start, or has an error message when it should be starting.

	To start with, check your system has the minimum specs to run the game. Click on the Start button, then on Run, then type in ‘dxdiag’. Click on OK, and this will bring up your system information. (If you have any more technical problems, please save this information off and send it to us.). In this dxdiag information, check your processor speed, RAM and video card memory against the minimums required. If your PC does not meet the minimum specs here, then the game will not play. Note that Richard Burns Rally requires a soundcard, too. Some graphics cards may meet the minimum specifications for RAM, but may not work correctly. Examples incluse Intel’s 810 cards, Matrox cards, SiS cards, the Voodoo range, Kyro cards and the S4 Savage card. Richard Burns Rally requires a graphics card with Transform and Lighting support and

	My PC has more than the minimum specs, but the game still does not work.

	This is likely to be a drivers problem. Check your card manufacturer in your dxdiag information or documentation, and visit their website or ask your computer supplier. The two largest gaming card manufacturers have websites here www.ati.com and www.nvidia.com. Other manufacturer’s drivers may be more difficult to find, or may not be up-to-date enough to support the required version of DirectX. If you have the latest drivers, make sure you have the latest version of DirectX on your PC from www.microsoft.com/directx or Windows Update. Sometimes, you will need to update your sound card drivers- again, this is best done by visiting the manufacturer’s website.

	I have installed Richard Burns Rally and the game will not run as intended.

	This is more than likely a hardware related issue. Using the DXDIAG program (click here for help) in mail here check that you have the minimum specifications (see above) necessary to run the game on your PC. If you have the correct specifications it is usually best to then make sure that you have the latest video and sound card drivers. You can find them here. http://www.ati.com/ - For ATI Cards http://www.nvidia.co.uk/page/home - For NVIDIA Cards Check your manufacturers website for soundcard drivers. Typical examples of a hardware related issue is the game booting up and just after the SCi and Warthog animated logos dropping back to the windows desktop. Any kind of graphical corruption in game can be usually resolved by installing the latest video-card drivers and setting them to their default settings. .

	I get a Pixel Shading Error when attempting to running Richard Burns Rally, what can I do?

	Richard Burns Rally needs a Graphics Card that supports PIXEL SHADING. If your Graphics Card does not have this as standard then the game will not run on your PC . Unsupported (non-Pixel Shading) Graphics Cards are:- NVIDIA TNT 2 Geforce 1 Geforce 64 Geforce 2 based cards Geforce 2 MX Geforce 4 MX ATI Rage 128 based cards Radeon 7500 Radeon 7200 Radeon 7000 3DFX All 3dfx based graphics cards SIS Xabre 400 (this card technically supports shaders but the game does not work on it.) SIS 315 ALL SIS onboard graphics INTEL Extreme onboard (Intel 845/Intel 865) 810 onboard

	My keyboard is not functioning on my Laptop PC, what can I do to get it working?

	The new ATI Catalyst 4.8 drivers are not officially released for the Mobile (Radeon 9600/9700 Mobile Series) chipsets yet. If you cannot use their keyboard on the Profile Screen then roll back your Graphics Card drivers to a previous Microsoft certified version. NOTE: This, so far, only seems to apply to mobile chipsets.

	What issues are there with steering wheels on the market?

	So far the Thrustmaster Enzo Ferrari Force-Feedback and the Thrustmaster F1 Force-Feedback have been found to work with the game, but are lacking Force-Feedback support.

	My PC is not recognising the disc is in the drive.

	CD/DVD Not recognised...(Part 1) Check which version of the game you have purchased (DVD or CD - it will state this in the top left hand corner of the packaging). Then check what kind of Disc Drive you have. A DVD will not be recognised in a CD drive. CD/DVD Not Recognised. 	My keyboard is not functioning on my Desktop PC, what can I do to get it working?

	This appears to be a specific problem with Creative Audigy Cards. The user needs to update their drivers / software using the auto-update program found on the www.creative.com website. Although, the user will have to state that their region is America to get the updates to work. Note - Windows-SP2 users may have to allow the ActiveX content to download before the website is able to correctly identify the hardware.

	My disc doesn’t work correctly?

	This will either be the disc itself or the hardware. Check the disc for obvious dirt or scratches; if it is new, please swap the disc with your retailer. Sci doesn’t offer a disc swapping service for accidental damage, unfortunately. Occasionally, problems loading discs can be hardware related. If the disc is clean and undamaged, or if other titles experience problems too, please contact your console manufacturer (Sony or Microsoft respectively).

	I can't connect to Xbox Live?

	This service is run by Microsoft, so you will have to contact them. Xbox Live has many troubleshooting features when run, so these may also indicate the cause and solution of any problem.

	Which Steering Wheels does Richard Burns Rally Support on PlayStation 2?

	Richard Burns Rally on PS2 has special support for all Logitech Steering Wheels, including the new Logitech® Driving ForceT Pro. It also supports all standard Playstation 2 Steering Wheels, although we advise to consult with your retailer before purchasing.

	Which Steering Wheels does Richard Burns Rally Support on Xbox?

	Currently Richard Burns Rally supports 2 Xbox wheels, the Madcatz MC2 and Thrustmaster Universal 360 Modena Racing Wheels.
